Children's Educational Programs
Wingspan’s engaging educational programs develop social-emotional skills, problem-solving abilities, and healthy decision-making in children ages 3 – 8 years old.
Our two premiere programs, Al’s Pals: Kids Making Healthy Choices and Al’s Caring Pals: A Social Skills Toolkit for Home Child Care Providers, reach children across a variety of settings -- school, preschool, child care centers, afterschool programs, and family child care homes.
The easy-to-use materials help children learn to:
- manage their feelings
- get along with others
- use self-control
- accept differences
- resolve conflict peacefully
- cope
- make healthy choices
Children enjoy the activities and readily incorporate newly acquired skills into their daily behavior and interactions.
Educators and child care providers benefit from the experiential training provided to them. They learn practical and effective ways to guide young children’s positive development and shape classroom or home care environments that foster caring, cooperation, and respect.
