Al's Caring Pals Effectiveness
As with all our initiatives, Wingspan is committed to ensuring that Al’s Caring Pals is an effective and high quality program. Preliminary evaluation results reveal findings similar to those seen in children who participate in Al’s Pals: Kids Making Healthy Choices – increased prosocial skills and prevention of increased aggression and antisocial behavior.
Evaluation Services to Measure Local Impact
To assess the effectiveness of local implementation of Al’s Caring Pals, Wingspan offers an evaluation services package that includes:
- Instruments for providers to complete for pre- and post-testing
- Data entry
- Analysis of data by an independent researcher
- An evaluation report by an independent researcher
